Job Description
Accounting background
Maintain accounting ledgers as required
Month End Closing procedures
Accounts Receivable
• Generating Invoices and sending to costumer
• Prepare Debit/Credit memos for price adjustments, rebates, and other additional Charges
• Maintain accounts receivable records and AR ledger
• Follow up on collection contacting customers
• Perform month end close process
• Be involved with sales department
• Maintain cash receipts journal
• Reconcile Month End AR Balances
• Prepare Weekly Receivable summary report
• Monitor Costumer Insured Limits
• Monitor Factored Receivables Outstanding
Accounts Payable
• Maintaining the Accounts Payable Ledger & Purchase Ledger
• Monitor in-Transit Shipments
• Maintain and keep current all compliance documentation
• Processing Weekly accounts payable payments
• Ensure with customs broker for duty payments & reconciliation
• Maintain and analyze Accounts Payable records
• Cost invoice verification (drayage, storage, freight, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with the terms of contracts
• Coordinate and ensure with foreign suppliers for price settlements, invoices, payments
• Balances financial data in the accounts payable ledger
• Maintains vendor files and communicates status of payments as required
• Responsible for accurate and timely completion of AP related month-end close tasks.
• Provide support to the accounting team and with other reporting duties
• Support sales team / Reports
• Follow up for any Material related claims
• Coordinate with Sales and Logistics team
Skills
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables & v-look ups)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to gather and analyze information and resolve difficulties quickly.
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, work with others
• Proactive approach to work
• Knowledge of accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable procedures
• Experience with international purchasing and logistics
