Major manufacturer is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a contract role expected to last 6+ months. Role will be based near Evansville, Indiana.
Will be assisting the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Department. Will be fully onsite M-F, likely 8 am -4 pm or similar.
Pay $22-25/hr
Duties:
Manage change in a dynamic work environment with a composed, professional presence.
• Tactful management of on-line calendars; prompt response to requestors while balancing business priorities.
• Responsive, professional telephone coverage for multiple people.
• Support meetings by organizing and making arrangements (start to finish).
• Plan and manage travel in an environment of changing plans and priorities.
– Project based or special assignments such as organizing off-site events, customer events, employee events, etc.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx; work with Manager(s) to develop a process for prompt response.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
• Development and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets, data input into business systems, data analysis, etc. ( Gensuite, eSHEM entry).
• Creation of Word documents such as letters and forms.
• Enter and maintain POs as appropriate.
Create PR's for services.
Order, receive and file any miscellaneous materials.
Create SES's for services.
Communicate with vendors re: payment status, order status, etc.
Order office supplies (Staples/Dell).
Order paper products/misc. (Synovos/WO/MB21).
Order PPE (MAGID).
Order special items (Online websites/Mercury).
Uniforms and Winter Wear.
SAP and MS Office (emphasis on EXCEL).
Coordinate site visits (meals, meeting rooms, invitations, etc.)
Take notes at unit meetings.
Filing and copying.
REQUIREMENTS
• Associate Degree in Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Secretarial Science; a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR 5 years recent experience in an Administrative Assistant or Clerical Role.
• SAP (preferred) and MS Office (emphasis on EXCEL)
