Associate Architect II
Candidates must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
Our client, a leading engineering and construction company is hiring for an Associate Architect II. This permanent position supports the Architectural Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects.

DUTIES
• Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects
• Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports
• Monitor material estimates and quantities
• Participate in equipment and material procurement activities
• Perform and check basic architectural design and calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple technical complexity
• Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution

REQUIREMENTS
• Accredited professional architectural degree and one (1) year of work-related experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Architectural design, modelling and presentation experience on small to large projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD and presentation software required
• Basic knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials, means and methods of construction
• Internship program in progress
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include word/ spreadsheets
