We are looking for a CAD Designer to support the development of technical documentation and system schematics for industrial projects. This role involves working with engineering teams to translate design concepts into accurate and organized digital drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and interpret technical input to support drawing development
- Create and maintain detailed system schematics and flow diagrams
- Follow internal protocols for document control, versioning, and release
- Utilize specialized software tools to produce high-quality technical drawings
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all design documentation
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency with digital drafting platforms used in process and instrumentation design
- Familiarity with diagramming tools for control systems and instrumentation (bonus if experienced with advanced platforms)
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and documentation practices
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable using standard office software for communication and documentation
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent technical coursework (or 5+ years of relevant experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in a CAD or drafting role within a technical or industrial setting
- Experience working with both 2D drafting and process documentation tools
