We currently seek a high-caliber Mid- to Senior-Level Civil Engineer (PE) for a direct hire basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals in Coos Bay, Oregon.

Position Overview:
The Mid- to Senior-Level Civil Engineer (PE) will provide technical leadership and project oversight for a diverse portfolio of municipal civil engineering projects. The position combines hands-on engineering, mentoring of junior staff, client engagement, and participation in business development and regional growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a variety of municipal civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, stormwater, and public works efforts
- Coordinate project delivery, quality control, technical standards, and peer review
- Serve as a technical resource and coach for developing engineers and junior staff
- Collaborate with regional leadership to identify and grow new project opportunities and revenue streams
- Engage with public agency and private-sector clients to support long-term partnerships
- Contribute to strategic planning and expansion of the coastal regional office
- Balance technical execution with the business side of engineering consulting
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or California (or ability to obtain Oregon licensure)
- 8+ years of civil engineering experience, with a strong focus on municipal engineering services
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor technical staff
- Interest in both technical excellence and the business aspects of consulting engineering
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment
