Client Administrative Assistant
Fluor Sugarland- Long term Contract (6-12 months+)

Our client, one of the world’s largest EPC’s, is seeking a Client Administrative Assistant to join their team in Southwest Houston. This is a long-term contract role (6 months-1 year+).

They will be operating under detailed instructions and review; the purpose of this position is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed.

Summary
This position assists and supports others in a department, subdivision, function, or project. The position relies primarily on established policies, procedures, and applicable work practices to make decisions as they apply to the job duties and responsibilities.

Scope
This position provides project technical and administrative support in a team environment. Working closely with the client, perform all project administrative responsibilities as assigned.

The position requires great communication skills, Attention to details, Experience working on Client drive tasks and a teamwork environment.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform technical and administrative duties including, but are not limited to: Client Driven duties, Customer Service, Skilled in attention to details, Communication with Client and comfortable with Project tasks and willing to ask questions and adhere to Cultural expectations.
• Planning and executing tasks with little to no assistance.
• Must be comfortable working with the Client and willing to take on various tasks and responsibilities.
• Report preparation, presentations, engineering specifications, setting up and maintaining project files in project databases.
• Provide general administrative support including meeting coordination, setting up and maintaining project files, project closeout, and file retention.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed.
• Adhere to and support Client’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job.
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality and available to work onsite.

Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner


Other Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Serve as a Company representative to external clients, this is a client driven role.
• Participate in training and career development
• Participate in the Administrative Support Knowledge Community
• Participate in department/project meetings and training


Related Education, Experience & Skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and be skilled in learning new software and programs.  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
•Typically requires four (4) years of project-related experience
