CNC Machine Shop Foreman
• Salary based on experience
• Pay: $50,000 - 70,000 / yr
• Mon-Fri

Qualifications:
• Must have knowledge in machining, manual lathes, CNC lathes, milling machining, cylindrical grinding, Tool and Die
• Must be able to read blueprints/ schematic
• Candidate needs to be able to understand SAE/ Metric measurements
• Looking for someone with proven leadership abilities, the capability to work with all employees, and great customer skills
• We are looking for a leader with strong communication skills

Responsibilities
• Supervisory role with approximately 12 direct reports on the machinist and support teams
• Manage machine schedule by predicting and monitoring timelines for job completion based on predicted cycle times, machine capabilities, operational efficiencies, and priority levels
• Must be able to operate machines while managing floor
• Manage employee workload and assign setups and production runs to machinists
• Monitor machine and operator efficiency to maximize production
• Manually program using M and G Code and Fusion360 and direct the setup/production of complex parts on Swiss CNC Lathes including multi-axis machining center
• Identify inspection methods, program Keyence measuring machine and oversee the frequency and adequacy of in-process and final inspections
• Monitor machinists’ written inspection reports and provide training as needed
• Problem solve to resolve technical issues on the machine floor (non-conformities, tooling selection, machine operation, finishing processes, etc.) Assist machinists with troubleshooting machines and programs
• Management duties include personnel performance evaluation, merit planning, employee development, timecard approval, coaching, etc
• Collaborate across departments including quality control, front office, post-processing, and management to drive on-time deliveries, product quality, and customer support
• Identify and order appropriate tooling for setups and maintain tooling inventory for ongoing jobs
• Adhere to Company Quality System and Procedures
• Follow safety policies and procedures; operate all equipment in a safe manner
• Complete other duties as required by management
