We currently seek a high-caliber Onsite Construction Manager for a temporary basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals.
Job Description:
- Personal skills (including language proficiency)

- Independent self-starter with a strong team mindset
- Good technical understanding of onshore wind construction
- Structured and well-organized
- Fluent in English
Competencies & Experience (including IT proficiency):
- Degree in Engineering or other secondary education supporting wind farm or construction management
- Minimum 10 years’ practical and operational experience
- Documented experience with subcontractor management
- Mature, positive and professional in actions and appearance and great networking capabilities
- Ability to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities
- Results-oriented with a dynamic and quick approach to finding solutions and taking decisions
- Good IT skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximum seven bullets (short and precise)
- Oversee construction of a project and flag any concerns on safety, quality, schedule or costs to subcontractors and the Project Manager
- Manage on site team and provide direction for team members
- Evaluate and document project schedule for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure that work performed meets the technical requirements for the contract
- Perform inspections and evaluate the performance of subcontractors
- Maintain activity logs with full documentation of on-site activities
- Coordinate planning and secure onsite manpower and resources
- Evaluate change orders and claims and manage risk and opportunities together with the project team
