Equipment Operator

TRS Craft Services is hiring for Equipment Operators in Los Alamos, NM area.

Summary of Duties:
Responsible to excavate contaminated soil, abandoned septic tanks, drain lines, and other potentially items. Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions and be responsible to adhere to the on-site safety plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Excavation throughout the project
• Recognizing hazardous conditions
• Following the on-site safety plan
• Following general safety rules, policies and procedures
Qualifications Required:
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and Experience:
• General operator skills
• Working knowledge of operating an Excavator (CAT 320 or similar)
• Valid driver’s license
• Other heavy equipment experience preferred
Special Requirements:
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
• Ability to pass U.S. Government employment background check and acquire U.S. Government Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential card.


Schedule:
Typically M-Th 7am-5:30pm, occasional Friday and weekend work as required.

Pay: $23+ DOE
