Job Description Summary
Performs maintenance work on facilities/building equipment, particularly electrical work, at the GLOBALFOUNDRIES facility in Hopewell Junction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Complies with all client safety requirements and programs.
• Perform general maintenance, will act as lead for all electrical shutdowns.
• Write shutdown procedures on electrical systems.
• Provide technical training for other employees.
• Preventive Maintenance and/or repair on all site Electrical Systems including Emergency Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Electrical Substations/Distribution/Circuit Breakers, Batteries, and Fuel Oil Systems, Motor Control Centers, Computer Room Air Conditioning Units, Lighting and Alarm/Control Circuits.
• Work closely with other technicians in the performance of general and specific maintenance on all “Electrical Systems.”
• Assist and perform repairs, trouble-shooting and other general electrical and maintenance related duties as required.
• Perform work on energized and de-energized AC and DC electrical circuits up to and including 13,200 VAC.
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance and Work Order completion as well as other administrative functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements
• A two year certificate from a college or technical school; or one-two years related experience and/or training in a specific equipment type; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of two years experience in any site maintenance/facilities related field (electrical or electronic preferred) or UPS/Emergency Generator experience.
• Knowledge or training in electrical hazards, Lockout/Tagout and basic electrical safety.
• A minimum of two years experience working with low voltage AC (600 Volts AC or DC nominal or less) and associated low voltage AC and DC control circuits.
• Read and comprehend complex electrical diagrams and schematics.

Certificates, License, Registrations
• A valid State Driver’s License
• Electrical Safety Certification

Pay is $25.00 - $28.00
