-Coordinating and supervising all daily logistics activities including: receiving, storage, material deliveries to production areas, and shipping
-Oversees cycle counting of inventory
-Manages internal milk-runs and deliveries through the use of Heijunka and Kanban systems
-Picking for both direct-ship trucks and Mod Center trucks
-Interprets daily workload to make proactive decisions to ensure KPIs are met while completing all tasks at hand.
-Suggests and implements changes to documented work processes to increase efficiency of the logistics department, assembly operations or contribute to improved quality
-Understands and enforces all safety policies and procedures
-Manages the effective movement of inventory, minimizing handling steps and downtime
-Analyzes problems and resolve or assist in solving problems
-Direct receiving, stocking, pick / packing, and physical inventory operations
-Responsible for all Logistics Center KPIs
-Maintains a high level of workplace organization (5S, Visual Management, establishes clear ownership of areas and equipment)
-Works with engineering team to develop and deploy Lean Six Sigma based material replenishment methods to reduce lineside inventory, replenishment time, etc.
-Maintains ISO9001 work instructions, training records, training matrix / qualification
