PURPOSE OF JOB
• Develop multi-channel Marketing Communications strategy and enable delivery
• Provide strategic guidance and tactical implementation support across all aspects of customer-facing marketing communication to all Chemicals Business Segments
• Lead a team of Marketing Communications practitioners
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Develop and deliver on an external, multi-channel M&S communications strategy
• Play advisory role to Business Segments in all matters of marketing communication
• Work with Business Segment teams to develop, coordinate and implement marketing communications strategy and plan
• Support the implementation of the new Chemicals brand strategy working with Business Segments and other internal teams
• Within the parameters of the brand framework and guidelines, execute a product brand in line with new Business Segments
• Lead the tactical execution of marketing campaigns, performance tracking and reporting of the same using conventional and digital marketing channels including social media marketing
• Lead for end-to-end planning and coordination of trade fairs, conferences and events with the support of internal business teams and external service providers
• Lead a central team responsible for coordinating development and maintenance of marketing collateral and content in both print and/or digital format
• Serve as the lead for managing relationships with approved 3rd party agencies and orchestrating execution of marketing campaigns and collaterals through them
• Lead a team of marketing communication specialists
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Professional degree in marketing, advertising, corporate communication or equivalent
vocational training or relevant professional experience
• 10 years of industry related experience
• 5 years of management experience
• Experience in Chemical industry or management consulting
• Hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing communication
• Strong business acumen with experience in Marketing & Sales functions
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills across organizational levels
• Proficiency in English. Bilingual skills will be an added advantage
• Leadership experience managing a small team
• Creative and energetic, taking the lead to drive the business forward by adding tangible value
