SUMMARY:
This position serves as a material planning team member who, with guidance from Purchasing Management, handles project material.

DUTIES:

• Manage critical material orders and/or supervise personnel at a mid-management level with oversight from Material Management
• Monitor and report supplier's performance toward completion of all deliverables in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the Purchase Order
• Collaborate across all disciplines including Material Management, Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS)/Quality, Engineering, Project Data & Document Management (PDDM), and Construction
• Act as liaison among Fluor, Supplier, and Client, as required
• Generate documents, organize and manage files, and maintain tracking data and reports
• Perform data entry proficiently in the Material Management Work Process with the approved Corporate Reference Tool for Material Management to facilitate project requirements
• Conduct bid clarification, pre-award, post award; suppler schedule/quality recovery meetings
• Maintain the highest ethical standards of Material Management professional responsibility
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and three (3) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to seven (7) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Advanced skills in Excel and data reporting
• Strong organization skills
• Update data in material management system
• Retrieve reports and assemble according to project specific needs
