Our Client, who specializes in Equipment Services has contract needs for a Millwright Foreman in the Forth Worth, TX area for contract needs!
Key Responsibilities
• Leads mechanics and other shop personnel through all phases of production in accordance with established schedules.
• Works with mechanics and helpers to ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and process drawings.
• Disassemble equipment, including bearing removal via heat or cooling.
• Assemble equipment according to instructions and specifications.
• Align and lay out components in order to put them together correctly according to blueprints and technical plans.
• Repair rotating equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic systems and replace defective components, parts and systems when necessary, using hand and power tools.
• Align rotating elements and take required measurements using laser and mechanical alignment tools.
• Safely operate equipment such as overhead cranes, hydraulic torque wrenches, fork truck, cut-off saws, portable machining equipment, heating/cutting torches, balance machines, test benches, etc.
• Records daily work activity and hours in the ERP system.
• Inspects components to verify conformance to specifications, using instruments, such as indicators, gauges, calipers, micrometers, templates and/or masterwork piece.
• Process documentation associated with rotating equipment repairs and overhauls. Including, but not limited to, work scopes, inspection forms, hold tags, photo logs and turnover logs.
Pay is DOE $35+
