Our client, a leading engineering and procurement construction company offering maintenance and project management services is hiring a PDDM Technician. This position performs as a project lead to plan and coordinate Project Document & Data Management (PDDM) project responsibilities including support of task force objectives and project milestones.
DUTIES
• Participate in project task force meetings
• Review work of others for accuracy and timeliness
• Direct the work activity and training of PDDM task force team
• May report directly to task force engineering manager or department management in the case of special assignments
• Responsible for compliance dictated by client regarding maintenance of related documentation
• Responsible for electronic receipt, recording, tracking reporting, and disposition of related
documents in a timely manner
• Perform complex PDDM problem solving, duties, and analytic tasks employer.
• Interface with groups inside and outside the organization
• May be required to give presentations to clients, projects, or management
• May fill in for an operations sub-lead on an intermediate or large project
• Apply knowledge of project management, understanding project baseline documentation, cost
and schedule
• Apply strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction documentation
• Manage all aspects of scope definition, developing detailed work plans, tracking including
managing and communicating work status
• Adhere to and support Company’s Operational System Requirements (OSR)
• System Implementation Plan (OSIP)
REQUIREMENTS
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10)
years* of work-related experience
• Thorough, working knowledge of and experience with computers and specialized software
programs
Excellent problem resolution and troubleshooting skills
• Experience related to working with engineering contractor partners, joint venture partners, etc.
