Project developer and management consultant is seeking a Project Engineer for a permanent role to be based in Greenville, SC.

Role will require technical expertise to support strategic plans and projects for industrial facilities (Refining/Chemical/Mid-Stream/Other) utilization, optimization, and process safety improvements.

Responsibilities

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Requirements

At least 10 years of experience

Background: Technical degree (engineering preferred but not required); strong background in Project Controls (cost, schedule, estimating)

Relevant Experience: Energy transition projects – renewable fuels, advanced recycling, blue/green hydrogen/ammonia, Fermentation and filtration, Biomass (wood) to energy
