QC Inspector Lead Assembly Plant
M-F 7am-3:30pm
$16 - $19 DOE

Position Summary
Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process and finished
products, recording quality results. Acts as the area expert on quality
standards and expectations and helps mentor others. Participate in and help drive the
company’s continuous improvement activities and goals.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
▪ Manage Priority and process flow for Quality Inspection activities for inspector team
▪ Review unit build documentation packages for completeness and accuracy
▪ Review “Redline” design data and compare to released Design data to ensure the
“Redline” change was incorporated
▪ Perform Quality Control Incoming Inspection on all items used in manufacturing process
▪ Perform Quality Control In-Process Inspection on all items used in manufacturing process
▪ Maintain equipment Calibration system and records
▪ Document nonconforming material, documentation and processes clearly and
accurately
▪ Comprehend basic English text, and numbers on drawings, work orders, process sheets,
work instructions, rules and regulations
▪ Provide support to all phases of Assembly and Test areas as needed for guidance on
Quality related issues
▪ Perform Final Inspection on outgoing material shipments

Desired Experience
▪ Familiarity with a standardized Quality Management system (ISO 9000 etc.)
▪ Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001
▪ ASQ Certified Quality Inspector

Required Experience
▪ Completion of quality-related courses such as problem-solving methods, Root Cause
investigations, etc.
▪ Proficiency in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
▪ 2 years of QC experience in a manufacturing environment

Education
High School Degree or GED; further education will be a plus

Required
▪ Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine accept / reject criteria
▪ Good communication (oral and written) skills
▪ Ability to work with minimal supervision
