Position: Safety Manager
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Employment Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Salary: $70,000-$90,000 DOE
Position Overview
The Safety Manager is a key leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program. This individual will champion a culture of safety across the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations while proactively reducing workplace risks. The role requires hands-on leadership in safety training, accident investigations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all occupational health, environmental health, and safety initiatives across the organization

Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and programs

Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels

Ensure compliance with OSHA and all local, state, and federal safety regulations

Perform incident and accident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

Partner with operations and leadership teams to promote continuous improvement in industrial safety practices

Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation

Foster a proactive, safety-first culture through leadership, communication, and employee engagement
Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in occupational health and safety management within an industrial or manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and best practices

Proven experience conducting accident investigations and implementing corrective actions

OSHA certification preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities

Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly desirable
