Position: Safety Manager
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Employment Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Salary: $70,000-$90,000 DOE

Position Overview
The Safety Manager is a key leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program. This individual will champion a culture of safety across the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations while proactively reducing workplace risks. The role requires hands-on leadership in safety training, accident investigations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all occupational health, environmental health, and safety initiatives across the organization

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and programs

• Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all local, state, and federal safety regulations

• Perform incident and accident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning

• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

• Partner with operations and leadership teams to promote continuous improvement in industrial safety practices

• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation

• Foster a proactive, safety-first culture through leadership, communication, and employee engagement

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in occupational health and safety management within an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Strong working knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and best practices

• Proven experience conducting accident investigations and implementing corrective actions

• OSHA certification preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly desirable
