Essential Functions:
Responsible for reading and interpreting work orders and blueprints.
Cut material with precision and identify product as required by job order.
Mark and identify material with heat and part numbers
Remove sharp edges and burrs, wash when needed
Properly and safely load and unload stock to and from saws using hoist or manually
Transfer finished parts to appropriate departments.
Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery
Material transport using motorized lifting equipment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience operating a jib crane
• Experience operating a DoAll DC310 saw
• Experience operating a W.F. Wells F-1620-A saw
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
At least one-year related experience and/or training with band saws
At least one-year of experience operating a forklift and other motorized lifting equipment
Ability to read simple, one dimension manufacturing drawings
Ability to demonstrate basic mathematical skills to include fractions and decimals
Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Pay Rate: $17.80 – $18.50 (depending on experience)
Shift: 5AM to 1:30PM Monday through Friday, with some daily overtime and weekend work possible
Physical Demands:
Minimum filing, collating and dialing. Occasional stretching and sitting. Frequent squatting, reaching, twisting, fingering (picking, pinching, fine manipulation), and driving. Constant bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 40 lbs. regularly, pushing, pulling, handling (holding, grasping, turning, otherwise working with hand or hands), standing, walking, seeing, hearing, writing and speaking.
