We are currently seeking a high-caliber SVP for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in remotely with travel to Arizona as required.
A stealth-mode, venture-backed smart infrastructure company redefining how energy is generated, distributed, and monetized. The mission: create the “Android for onsite power systems” - an open, OEM-agnostic platform that transforms microgrids into networked, dispatchable power assets. At the core is the Unified Operating System (UOS), a proprietary orchestration layer enabling distributed energy systems to function as a global, software-defined power network. It’s a category-defining platform.
The Senior Vice President of Microgrid Architecture & Asset Networking is to serve as the top engineering leader for physical infrastructure. This is a founding executive role responsible for building, from the ground up, the hardware, firmware, and deployment systems that bring the platform to life across real-world critical infrastructure.
This is a founding executive seat with equity upside. The right individual will drive direct impact on global energy infrastructure transformation. An opportunity to define technical standards for onsite power worldwide.
Job Requirements
- 15–20+ years’ experience in energy, industrial tech, telecom, or defense
- Expertise in hardware, firmware, and control systems
- Experience with critical load environments
- Proven innovation and IP development track record
- Thrives in 0→1 environments
Qualifications:
- Engineering Leadership & Innovation: Act as senior technical authority; build and lead engineering team; define standards for always-on infrastructure
- Platform & Product Development: Design infrastructure nodes; develop OEM-agnostic architecture; lead controls innovation
- System Integration: Architect integration for data centers, EV charging, and telecom with strong uptime reliability
- Industry Leadership: Build OEM partnerships; represent company in standards bodies
- IP & Standards: Develop patent portfolio and integration frameworks
