Our Partner, an internationally integrated Chemicals Company, has an opening for a TAR Contracts Document Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join an amazing team of contracts and procurement professionals located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in drafting and preparation of RFI’s/RFQ/RFP’s and contract documents
• Assist with supplier pre-qualification
• Establish and maintain files and agreements
• Coordinate with contracts specialists, legal and category managers as required
• Manage report updates
• Other duties as assigned
• Optional: Experience in negotiating contract terms and conditions, negotiating proposals, negotiating change order requests, manage bidding process for materials and services
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Document management skills
• Effective Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
• Self-motivated and creative in getting results while overcoming obstacles
• Good interpersonal skills to get cooperation from suppliers, customers, and peers
• Detail-oriented to identify inconsistencies and suggest corrections
• Use of MS office suite - especially Word and Excel
• Ability to chase down due actions and get resolution
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Working knowledge of contracts and procurement environment
• Bid package and Contract preparation experience
• Effective negotiation skills
