Workspace Specialist

Our Partner, an Internationally Integrated Chemicals Company, is in need of a Workspace Specialist to work from their Lake Charles, Louisiana facility.

The Workspace Specialist performs a variety of duties in support of computer workstation devices. They respond to and diagnose problems and answers queries regarding computer hardware, software, network and telecommunications systems. Workspace Specialists maintain and update Remedy tickets and asset management records. They install computer hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives. Workspace Specialists also install and verify correct operation of software packages, such as operating system and desktop applications. They also provide training and technical assistance to users.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage ADMB/CMDB/Asset Sanitization/Security Groups in Service Now
• Submit Purchase Requisition for IM hardware/services in SAP
• Process Hardware chargebacks for IM
• Manage and review IAM/OMADA workflows and requests
• Assistance with mobile devices support/ordering/managing
• Manage User onboarding-orientation/offboarding process
• Collaboration with FSO teams
• Direct and ensure LKC field service operators are meeting SLA’s and adhering to standards and compliance with all site rules and regulations

Experience and/or Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Knowledge with Service Now
• Familiarity with Windows 10 and Office 365
• Basic level 1 troubleshooting with workspace hardware (Dell desktops, laptops, and iPhones/Android mobile devices
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
