Yard Dog Operator

We are currently interviewing Yard Dog Operators to move shipping containers and hoppers to various locations within the facility. You will be operating a yard dog with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around the warehouse facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. To be successful as a yard dog, you should have good eyesight, be physically fit, and communicate effectively. Ultimately, a top-notch Yard Dog should be able to perform under pressure, have good driving skills, and be responsible.

This position is from 2pm to 11pm Monday thru Friday!

Key Job Elements
• Completing trailer sanitation before reloading.
• Moving equipment around the yard.
• Notifying management of repairs that need to be made.
• Performing lot and door checks
• Storing equipment in safe areas.
• Conducting regular inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Ability to work in outside in all weather conditions
• Performs other duties as required.
. Requirements:
• Safety oriented driver
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of trailer experience is preferred.
• Physically fit.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Good eyesight
• Multi-Tasker
• Problem Solving and Analytics
