SUMMARY

This is an exciting contract hybrid opportunity with the potential to go direct with our client.

This role provides day to day oversight of IT support to business groups. Role is responsible for local implementation of enterprise level initiatives within Service Delivery, including planning, coordination, tracking and implementation of special projects. Works with team members to facilitate and plan IT initiatives and local process improvements. Maintains relationships with internal and external service providers to ensure deliverables meet requirements. Responsibilities include coordination of various asset management functions to ensure accurate tracking and replenishment of PC fleet. Also includes activities related to infrastructure change management, access vulnerabilities, and monitoring of Data Center audit control points.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties
• Responsible for local implementation of enterprise level initiatives such as Windows refresh deployments and other PC infrastructure solutions.
• Responsible for overall coordination of the Central Receiving function in Greenville, as resource approach is fully matrixed amongst several entities. Includes coordination of business needs forecasting and inventory management, resource management, purchasing, special project planning (PC Refresh, non-standard hardware deployment, asset disposals.)
• Management of ticket processing from Archibus/RSA systems, coordination with Deskside support as required.
• Local interface to Project Automation teams for problem/ticket escalations, IT support coordination, and day to day relationship management.
• Facilitate resolution, communication, and escalation of Priority 1 and 2 incidents as required. Work with external and internal service providers to development workarounds or other interim solutions to incidents.
• Weekly management of local change control tickets, represent Greenville office on weekly Change Management call.
• Facilitate expedited resolution of local infrastructure security risks identified by IT Security, such as but not limited to open shares remediation, user computer vulnerabilities, and removal of rogue devices.
• Facilitate review of inactive network access accounts, extension of local contractors’ access, and priority statuses for Help Desk support.
• Monitor various audit control points managed by Service Delivery, such as but not limited to vendor backup reports.
• Various other administrative duties as required.
• Backup to Service Delivery Manager and focal for other business engagement.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education/Training
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience is acceptable
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus

Skills/Experience
• At least 2 years related experience in technical services for hardware/software engineering and/or production support of IT services
• Experience with IT project management methodologies and execution of small projects
• Vendor management experience
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, takes initiative, works well independently
• Flexible and willing to adapt to changing environments
• Fosters a sense of urgency, identifies and overcomes obstacles
• Persistent in the pursuit of results
• Excellent work ethic and reliable
