BMS Lead

TRS Staffing Solutions is looking for a BMS Lead to work on a #Datacenter project in the #Groningen area.
Roles & responsibilities
• Project responsibility for managing the BMS scope on the Project.
• Interface between Client and Project Management team on all BMS matters.
• Responsibility for managing the sub-contractors covering the BMS scope of work.
Requirements –
• Experienced with working in conjunction with the Customer's Design Team and Delivery Partner to take the Customer Design from Stage 3 to Commissioning in conjunction with the BMS Vendor
• To ensure the interface between the Electrical and Mechanical installations and equipment is aligned with the BMS Design
• To review Consultants & Contractors designs, identify potential issues and offer solutions
• To review design and shop drawings, the project programme and contribute where necessary
• manage the trade interface matrix & demarcation matrix to ensure all scope is captured
• Work closely with the Electrical & Mechanical Managers to ensure no scope gaps
• Thorough understanding of Mechanical & Trend Controls (BMS) systems.
• A good general knowledge of building services engineering systems, with specialist expertise in more specific areas such as IT cabling or controls
• Recognised Industry Standard Qualifications in BMS Installation
• Experienced in IST BMS integration
• Come from a technical engineering background in BMS.
• Have 5+ years of experience as BMS Project Manager.
• Principle point of contact on assigned projects, with customer & key stakeholders for all design activity
• Lead customer meetings & workshops, to ensure the required outputs are achieved
• Preparation of defined BMS/ENMS design deliverables for RIBA Stage 3, 4 & 5,
• Knowledge and experience of Network Architectures, Points Schedules, Sequence of Operations, etc
• Collation of all design information & resolution of queries to allow timely completion of design, including necessary submittals & approval from customers representative
• Identification of scope changes, including provision of necessary information to support claims for time/cost impact
• Actively co-ordinate with internal teams, ensuring flow of information to allow efficient Software & Graphics production
• High degree of collaboration with project team to ensure that overall project timelines are met
• Excellent communication, relationship management and decision-making skills
• A solid understanding of Health and Safety management
• A strong drive for delivery – you'll push each stage of the building services engineering contract works through on time and to our quality standards
