Are you looking for your next Business Architect / Transformation Design position? We currently have a vacancy for a Business Architect & Transformation Design Lead to work for a P3M SME Consultancy out of London Victoria on a National Audit Office (NAO) project.

The National Audit Office (NAO) supports parliament to hold government to account and to improve public services. They focus on driving long-term sustainable improvement in public service delivery and work with government and their stakeholders to deliver better performance. In a nutshell, they help the nation spend wisely.

Reporting to the Financial Audit Transformation Programme Director, the role of the BATDL will be to join a busy programme team to work across senior level stakeholders to provide expert advice on business architecture, design and large scale business change. Their principle responsibility is to drive the design and analysis to inform the design, build, implementation and adoption of the latest methodology, processes and systems for Financial Audit within the NAO. This will also include the identification and articulation of the future state and projected programme benefits.

The individual will possess a full understanding of the architecture lifecycle and will act as the glue to roadmap the NAO through this transformation programme, including direction challenge and improvement proposals where appropriate. The need is for a strategically minded individual with the responsibility to develop, support and maintain the architectural framework for people, process, systems and data supporting the new 2020 NAO Strategy.

Key skills:
• Multiple years experience of leading Business Strategy, Architecture and Design activities
• Experience of large scale transformation programmes
• Business process analysis and design knowledge and expertise
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to lead. Personable, approachable, highly self-motivated and driven
• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
• Ability to lead and successfully engage stakeholders at all levels
• Experience and knowledge of Business Design principles, methodologies and tools
• Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills
• Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm and focused under pressure
• Resilient, ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment
• Inform and drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and conflicting priorities
