Role accountabilities:
• Design coordination for selected projects or components of projects including taking responsibility for collaborating with other design disciplines in areas such as earthworks, roadworks, and drainage.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with Project Managers and Engineers, Designers and Drafters of the Civil discipline and other related disciplines (i.e., mechanical, and structural)
• Provide quality in the delivery of design models in 12d and drafting deliverables in MicroStation for various stages of design in studies and execution phase projects including the development of material take-off’s (MTO’s)
• Successfully plan and complete assigned projects within agreed budgets and timelines
• Ensure production of project documents are accurate and clear and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project
• Working with junior designers and drafters and guide them in delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
• A collaborative approach and appreciation of the value of teamwork.
• Relevant engineering degree and/or certifications.
• Demonstrated industry experience in the use of 12d and MicroStation software across civil projects.
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality outputs within desired timeframes.
• Good communication skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement, quality and improving service for our clients.
• Comprehensive design experience (>7 years) delivering resource and infrastructure projects.
• Sound knowledge and experience working with relevant Australian standards including AUSTROADS.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a high performing team environment
