A Mining company who focus on open pit mining are recruiting for a Concentrator Maintenance Manager to work in Asia on rotation.
Your role as Concentrator Maintenance Manager will include the following responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement and lead activities of the maintenance section across both SXEW/ sulphide concentrator plants and site infrastructure.
2. Coordinate mechanical and electrical maintenance of the SXEW, crushing, milling, flotation, thickening and filtration sections, including shutdown scheduling, planning to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
3. Coordinate through subordinates the maintenance of other fixed assets such as site utilities (air, water, STP, power).
4. Ability to optimize process production through leadership by direction of staff, communication and coordination with the operations, training and metallurgy groups inside the Concentrator Department; and with external groups including the Mining, HSE, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management and, Finance Departments.
5. Manage the development of maintenance plans, budgets and schedules.
6. Manage the execution of maintenance plans and assessment of efficiency and execution improvements.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor Degree
- At least 10 years experience at relevant maintenance managerial roles in Ore Processing Facilities or similar heavy industry including extensive maintenance experience on large crushers and grinding mills.
- Proven experience in managing inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment and ensures reorders of spares are effective;
- Experience in managing electrical and instrumentation sections, this requires a working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, SCADA and PLC plant control and Radiation Safety.
- Experience in managing planning and asset reliability sections
