Client is looking for Construction Manager
Project Type: Brownfield | EPC | PMC | Petrochemical Plant | Turnaround (TA) | Furnaces
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline preferred)
- 20+ years of proven experience in construction management with a strong record of delivering large‑scale petrochemical projects
- Extensive Saudi Arabia project experience with major clients
- Demonstrated expertise working on FEED, EPC, and PMC project phases
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, industry standards, and project execution procedures
- Skilled in managing contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary construction teams
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent ability to communicate with management, clients, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict‑resolution skills
- Proven ability to manage schedule, cost, quality, and HSE compliance
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to work in time-sensitive, fast-paced project environments
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full construction lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements
- Supervise and direct day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring safe and efficient work execution
- Oversee and coordinate work among engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams
- Interface with FEED and PMC groups to ensure alignment of design intent with construction deliverables
- Prepare and manage Construction Execution Plans, manpower forecasts, resource plans, and site logistics
- Review and validate construction schedules; identify delays and implement recovery or mitigation strategies
- Monitor project performance KPIs and issue regular progress reports to project management and the client
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies, international standards, and client-specific requirements
- Lead construction coordination meetings, resolve technical issues, and remove site bottlenecks
- Review and approve method statements, ITPs, material submissions, and construction drawings
- Manage contract variations, change orders, and claim related to construction activities
- Ensure all construction deliverables, punch lists, and final handover documentation are completed to client satisfaction
