Contracts and Commercial Specialist

Our client is a major player in the infrastructure construction industry and are seeking a Contracts and Commercial Specialist to join their team in Windsor, ON. In this role you will work with various customers as well as business support functions to achieve commercially successful solutions to complex contractual and commercial issues.

Key Job Duties:
• Work with various internal customers as well as business support functions to achieve commercially successful solutions to contractual and commercial issues
• Communicate with supply chain members and manage contractual & commercial contracts
• Able to work effectively in high pressure environments
• Able to understand Cost, Value and Liability

Key Qualifications:
• 3 – 5 years’ experience, previous construction experience is an asset
• Direct experience in administering complex engineering or construction contracts
• Experience in developing contractual strategy for engaged supply chain members with the goal of a commercially successful outcome
• Experience in managing subcontractors, and suppliers from award of contract to completion of final account
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and reliable
