Fluor is currently looking for a number of Cost Controllers to join the team to work on a variety of projects in both Critical Minerals and Iron Ore

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • As Cost Specialist prepare consistent, accurate and reliable revenue, cost, PGM and effort hour forecasts on a monthly basis
  • Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract
  • Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management 
  • Recommend solutions or recovery plans to cost impact or delays
  • Coordinate the review of Project Profit/Risk Analysis with management and provide status reporting 
  • Plan and organize own work assignments
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and global standards
  • Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies

Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills

  • 5 years of work-related experience
  • Relevant degree or diploma
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors Is this a qualification or should it be moved to personal attributes.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
