Key Responsibilities:
- Creation and administration of forecasts for the costs of the Offshore wind projects, maintaining a schedule of the forecast cash flow from the Investment decision to final completion
- Record and monitor the financial impact of change requests and communicating outcomes and consequences with the Project Management Team
- Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and sub-contractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Identify and monitor financial risks and clearly present these to the Project Finance Director
- Support the monthly reporting including the preparation of financial information on the project for Project Financing requirements and shareholders as required.
- FX hedge monitoring and maintaining inputs necessary for hedge accounting
- Support the valuation of OFTO assets and input as necessary into the transaction process for the regulated divestment.
- Ensure internal controls are being adequately applied e.g. Delegation of Authority for investment spend , controls detailed in specific project shareholder agreements or local country specific procedures etc
- Development and maintain good working relationships with all internal stakeholders as required to ensure clear visibility on the status of the tasks above to both project and line management.
Key Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of contract(s) of assigned packages for a construction project in the renewables market or comparable large infrastructure project is essential
- Advanced Excel proficiency is essential
- SAP or Similar ERP system knowledge is an advantage
- English as a working language is essential, other European languages an advantage
- Quantity surveyor qualification or similar an advantage
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and global environment with an entrepreneurial attitude
- Ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders in a matrix organisation
