Data Center - Electrical Engineer

The Role
My client requires an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and commissioning of small to medium sized data center facilities across Europe. Based from home you will represent our client via virtual meeting with the end client and subcontractors and be willing to Travel 50% of the time once the global lockdown measures have eased.

Responsibilities
Create designs and plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary electrical engineering design role.
Create Conceptual Designs gathered from meetings with the client for Field Engineer focus
Conduct analyses and audits of electrical systems, and lead improvements.
Prepare electrical specifications and design criteria for retrofits, and provide input on future data center design reviews.
Participate in equipment failure and power outage incidents and drive Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA). Implement solutions broadly across all regions.
Evaluate data center commissioning scripts and participate in commissioning activities (Integrated System Test) for new and retrofitted data centers.

Skills
10+ years in Electrical Engineering
Ideally BSc in Electrical Engineering
Experience of working on complex designs for Data Centers
Experience with Electrical Systems such as USP (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Generators, Switchgears, and Batteries is a MUST
