DDM Specialist II

Salary: $60k

Contract Opportunity

Greenville, SC


Degree Required - for immediate hire


DDM is the control center for all company records. Personnel are responsible for detailed electronic capture & dissemination, as required. DDM personnel work with other company functional personnel to identify, uniquely number/name all project records, and load them to the electronic document management system.


Requirements:

Must have engineering project DDM experience in all aspects of engineering execution: start up, in process and project closeout and turnover to Clients.

Must have experience with standards and procedures writing, reviews, issuance.

Must have experience with various types of technology including: documentation databases, technical libraries, share points, share drives and engineering documentation systems.

Must possess exceptional excel skills; experience with Coreworx or other EPC databases preferred.

Must be willing to work off Site on project locations as needed.

Must be organized, detail oriented, team oriented, able to work to deadlines under pressure.


Job Description:

May perform as a project lead to plan and coordinate DDM project responsibilities including support of task force objectives and project milestones.

Must demonstrate responsiveness to company and client, with timely resolution of all actions and execution of responsibilities.

Must be knowledgeable in DDM procedures and relevant company policies. Participates in project task force meetings.

Demonstrates proficiency on company standard computer equipment and software with the ability to train others.

Reviews work of others for accuracy and timeliness.

May direct the work activity and training of Technician I, II, and III roles.

May report directly to task force engineering manager.

Responsible for compliance dictated by client regarding maintenance of related documentation.

Responsible for electronic receipt, recording, tracking reporting, and disposition of related documents in a timely manner.

Performs complex DDM duties and analytic tasks; demonstrates problem solving skills.

Interfaces with groups inside and outside the organization.

May be required to give presentations to clients, projects, or management.

Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

College degree or equivalent work experience.

Requires 12+ years of project related experience in the EPC industry in lieu of degree.

Thorough, working knowledge of and experience with computers and specialized software programs such as electronic document management systems, relational databases, and internet based project collaboration systems.

Excellent problem resolution and troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to present training programs and develop training materials. Leadership skills / team player.
