Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Structural Steel Detailer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and documentation for steel structures, pipe supports, modular skids, and civil foundations. The role demands precision, technical expertise, and coordination with engineering and fabrication teams.
- Prepare steel fabrication drawings for structural components.
- Develop Pipe Support and Pipe Rack GA & detail drawings.
- Create GA drawings for modular skid structures.
- Generate structural steel drawings including beams, columns, staircases, handrails, and gratings for buildings and industrial plants.
- Prepare equipment foundation drawings and associated details.
- Develop skid lifting and transportation drawings.
- Produce foundation loading data drawings.
- Prepare Civil and Structural MTOs, COG (Centre of Gravity), and BOMs.
- Create civil foundation drawings and schedules.
- Design steel connection details in accordance with project and code requirements.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar detailing software.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and construction practices.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience in industrial and plant structures.
- Familiarity with IS, AISC, and other international codes.
- Knowledge of oil & Gas structural detailing will be added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
