Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to manage end-to-end HR functions for our civil/construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations specifically within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for site-based and corporate roles (engineers, site supervisors, labor workforce, etc.)
- Coordinate with project managers to understand manpower requirements
- Source candidates through job portals, agencies, and internal references
- Schedule interviews and manage onboarding processes
- Address employee grievances and maintain a positive work environment
- Conduct employee engagement activities across sites and HO
- Monitor employee performance and support appraisal cycles
- Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management
- Manage payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, deductions, etc.)
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, etc.)
- Coordinate with contractors for labor compliance documentation
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs
- Conduct induction programs for new hires (especially site workers)
Required Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–4 years of HR experience (preferably in construction/civil industry)
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle site workforce and multitask in dynamic environments
