Responsibilities:
- Set and track key metrics for engineering quality, productivity, utilization, and client feedback.
- Manage internal engineering standards, specifications, tools, and quality management documentation.
- Participate in client meetings, proposal efforts, industry events, and other business development activities.
- Improve work processes, training programs, and knowledge‑sharing practices to increase efficiency.
- Lead and support engineering teams, including coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Provide senior engineering oversight on major bids and active projects, including support on technical issues, risks, and resource planning.
- Maintain strong technical standards related to design practices, risk reviews, and constructability.
- Work closely with project delivery, technology, and other groups to strengthen coordination across functions.
- Oversee engineering quality programs, review processes, and compliance with professional regulatory requirements.
- Preform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in engineering roles within large-scale project environments (EPC, industrial projects, capital development, or related sectors).
- Proven leadership experience overseeing engineering teams delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrated background in quality management, engineering governance, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
- Experience interacting with clients during proposal development, project reviews, or strategic decision-making processes.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and inspire collaborative problem-solving.
