Summary of position:
We currently seek a high caliber Electrical Superintendent for a contract basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Concord, CA. Completely familiar with all phases of a contract's scope, requirements and schedule. Plans methods and procedures for the safe installation of the electrical system including the coordination with other crafts and project schedule. Supervises the safe installation of the contract requirements in accordance with the National Electric Code and/or local code enforcing authority. Insure that sufficient material, tools and equipment is available on the job site so that project is not delayed or being done in a non-productive manner. Maintain a harmonious and productive attitude among the employees.

Requirements / Must haves:
Candidates must have 10+ years of previous commercial/industrial electrical experience.
Previous Supervisory experience is required.
Possess a valid Driver's License.
Must be able to interpret drawings, specifications, other contract documents, wiring diagrams,and other job related directives.
Must be able to identify price changes to the contracts.
Must be able to read sketches and relate information to employees.
High attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Team player with ability to effectively communicate.
Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Previous military base or USACE experience preferred.

Job Duties:
Provide technical guidance and support as the team installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems.
Ensuring that safety standards and compliance codes are met, and oversee the training and scheduling of workers.
Strong knowledge of electrical and circuitry layouts is essential including instrumentation and controls.
Prepared to work unconventional hours, as must be available to be on call for electrical emergencies.
Strong computer skills.
Effective communication and writing skills.
