Engineering Manager

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our clients engineering team in Surrey, BC. Our distinguished client focuses on creating prebuilt plants for small communities, Indigenous groups, mining operations, and various industries. They specialize in the design and construction of water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities for a broad spectrum of uses.

Salary Range: $110K - $125K/year.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering managers to create designs and estimate costs for water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Guide, mentor, and develop the engineering team.
• Oversee project teams, manage contracts from both technical and commercial perspectives, and foster customer relationships.
• Identify and procure suitable equipment, raw materials, and control components.
• Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects, perform various tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.
• Travel to client sites may be necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience (preferred).
• Engineering degree with a focus on water treatment.
• Comprehensive understanding of design processes, specifications, and engineering software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
