Our client, a reputable construction and multidisciplinary engineering services consulting company with locations across Canada and the U.S. is currently recruiting for a Geomatics Technician to join their team in Terrace, BC. This is a full-time permanent position.
In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will have the chance to work on field data processing, survey plan checking and computations. Some duties include producing drafting products, base file mapping, and composite plans. This candidate will be responsible to identify and manage survey errors in the CAD environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience within the geomatics industry would be considered an asset
- Previous CAD experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Geomatics or Survey Technician
- Strong mathematical and computer operating skills
