The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in job evaluation and grading using the Hay methodology, as well as a strong understanding of market benchmarking and compliance with local labor laws.
This role is based in Doha, Qatar.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Job architecture & evaluation
- Manage job architecture and carry out job evaluation and grading for new or revised positions using the HAY methodology.
- Compensation & benefits framework
- Develop, review, and update Compensation & Benefits policies, procedures, and Employee Handbooks; regularly benchmark compensation and benefits to ensure market competitiveness and alignment.
- Performance Management
- Monitor performance management processes in the Head Office.
- Advisory & Business partnering
- Advise managers and employees in the Head Office on compensation topics, and support HR Managers in the Business Units on C&B projects, salary structures, pay ranges, and related frameworks.
- Group-wide projects
- Coordinate and implement Group-wide C&B projects and initiatives with local HR teams.
- Planning, budgeting & cycles
- Prepare the Head Office staff budget and plan, consolidate annual staff plan budgets across entities, and coordinate and execute the annual merit and bonus cycle.
- Analytics, compliance & market insights
- Prepare Group HR reports and dashboards, analyse HR data, ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies, and translate market and regulatory developments into recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Required candidates with working experience in Qatar (past or present)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field from a reputable university.
- Proven experience in a Compensation & Benefits role.
- Expertise in job evaluation and job grading using the HAY methodology.
- Preferably, a consultancy background in C&B/job evaluation and a strong interest in transitioning into an in-house corporate role.
- Candidates with Big 4 experience will be an advantage.
- Advanced user in Power BI and Excel, with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets.
- Good understanding of HRIS/compensation modules, preferably Oracle.
