Our client are seeking a highly motivated HSE Supervisor to join the team working on a major, $1.6 billion pharmaceuticals project in Denmark. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of all personnel and the surrounding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the HSE Manager and team in planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with Danish regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate and report all incidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for new and existing employees, fostering a strong safety culture on site.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Participate in project planning meetings to ensure HSE considerations are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience working in a supervisory HSE role, preferably within the pharmaceuticals industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSE best practices and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
