Job Title: Contract IATF Coordinator
Reports to: Plant Manufacturing Manager
Location: Greer, SC
Industry: automotive manufacturing
Status of Hire: contract, hourly non-exempt
Length of assignment: 4-6 month contract, could go longer, could eventually go direct
Hours: typically Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm with overtime and shift adjustments as needed to complete tasks or training
Pay: $35-42/hr depending on experience
Description:
Client is seeking an IATF Coordinator/Engineer/Driver to lead implementation of the IATF standards and principles over the next 4-6 months in their automotive manufacturing facility in Greer, SC. Ideal candidate would be a former IATF Auditor or similar.
Responsibilities:
- Taking the lead on IMS and IATF 16949 open points to ensure compliance and that internal teams have the knowledge to sustain and manage the system upon implementation or improvement
- Audit preparation
- Interacting with the quality team and current internal TS16949 Coordinator to compile PDCAs from each department and escalate any need(s) for additional resources, up to and including recommendations for containment as needed
- Implementation of IATF foundations using standardized forms and IATF guidelines for support
- Act as process owner in maintaining facility compliance
Must have:
- 3+ years’ previous experience demonstrating proficiency with IATF standards and implementing business management systems within an automotive tier I manufacturing plant
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration preferred
**Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer regardless of visa transfer or sponsorship
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire
**This is a contract position at this time; no relocation assistance is being offered
