“TRS has an exciting opportunity for IT Engineer with multiple MSP project management and a good aptitude for IT to join our client’s project team based in WESTVILLE DURBAN.”

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide excellent customer service and consistently work to exceed customer’s expectations.
• Provides the first line of support for users either calling in or emailing.
• Takes calls and emails from end-users that need assistance throughout the day to troubleshoot help desk ticket issues, this includes working with on-site and remote users.
• Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions; test and implements solutions
• Troubleshoots applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
• Manages the Helpdesk and suggests enhancements in process and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance for all IT related hardware as needed (i.e. laptops, desktops, servers, network gear).
• Identify opportunities for improvement and help implement.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 2-3 years working in a technical operating capacity is preferred, or 3-5 years of working experience in a technical capacity.
• A+ and Net+ Certification preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Help Desk / End User / Desktop support environment
• MSP experience
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks, handle multiple priorities, and perform exceptionally under high stress conditions
• Knowledge of computer operations and standard software packages (word processing, spreadsheets, Adobe) required.
