Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact for regional business users on IT-related matters
- Deliver IT operations including user support, infrastructure, security, network management, procurement, and asset tracking
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define system requirements and specifications
- Manage second-level support operations across the region
- Ensure uninterrupted IT service across all construction sites in the UK and Ireland
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in IT roles with increasing responsibility
- Minimum 3 years in system administration and IT support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proven experience in IT service management and SLA monitoring
- Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or MCSE are advantageous
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
- Accuracy of project timelines and cost control
- System and service availability
- Speed of ticket resolution
- Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) following failures
- SLA breach frequency
- User satisfaction measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS)
- Response time based on ticket severity
Technical Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration
- Proficiency in managing users, groups, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP
- Strong understanding of information security principles including access control, encryption, and patch management
- Solid grasp of networking protocols and infrastructure: TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls, switches, wireless equipment
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online: document libraries, lists, permissions, and external access
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services: Intune, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online
- Ability to train and support users on systems and processes
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Strong communication and technical skills
- Ability to work under the guidance of the Regional IT Supervisor
- Initiative, autonomy, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
