The ITQAN department manager is responsible for driving change across the organization through proactive identification and execution of improvement projects in collaboration with all departments / divisions in the company. He makes sure ITQAN department as a whole is responsible for implementing a culture of continuous improvement in the company and is a centre of knowledge for Lean methodologies and tools.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities

1 Definition and execution of yearly improvement plan for the company
2 Hiring, training and managing ITQAN resources to ensure the department is capable of handling internal improvement projects
3 Proactive communication with department / division heads regarding improvement projects & opportunities
4 Nurturing continuous improvement culture within the company
Main duties
1 Drive the overall strategic thinking across the organization to ensure that the business processes are efficient and effective and derive initiatives / projects that will lead to better processes
2 Support ALJUF management in defining priorities in terms of process & operations improvements through proactive suggestions, based on analysis and quantified potentials
3 Lead the execution of strategies and projects across the business by mobilizing and managing teams and participate in company level transformation projects
4 Deliver large-scale strategic as well as digital or business transformation initiatives with certainty and to high standards to ensure transformational goals and objectives are met
5 Build strong relationships with department / division heads in order to support them in their improvement initiatives and suggest to them new improvement ideas
6 Analyzing the activities of all departments individually exposing its strengths and weaknesses; deriving opportunities to be expolited and threats to be adressed
7 Manage ITQAN team through: providing guidance on projects, concepts to be developed, manage day to day requests / support needed, evaluate the performance on a regular basis, provide instant & regular feedback, provide necessary training to close the gaps / areas of improvement identified during the performance reviews
8 Plan and allocate ITQAN resources to initiatives / improvement projects based on identified needs and priorities
9 Manage relationship with senior management stakeholders for the projects led by ITQAN team, including getting necessary alignments, buy-in, proving regular progress updates and making necessary escalations
10 Providing quantitative analysis on revenue or cost improvement that could be achieved by departments through the initiatives suggested / identified
11 Driving the formulation of the yearly process / operations improvement plan, by working with the senior management team to establish and review key strategic priorities
12 Collaborate with institutional leadership, special committees, other Group companies and consultants to support approval, sign-off and execution of key initiatives
13 Communicate the yearly process / operations improvement plan across levels in the organization, and engaging associates to contribute and deliver
14 Drive and monitor the realization of the yearly process / operations improvement plan project portfolio
15 Ensuring transparency and predictability in project status, progress, risks and challenges, timelines and estimated benefits through accurate reporting on the project portfolio
16 Driving organizational transformation advising on organizational decisions and driving change in organizational culture Governance, Quality & Excellence
17 Leading idea generation programs such as ITQAN improvement system and ensure its sustainability
18 Driving an organizational culture of quality and excellence engagement, standard setting, training, standardization efforts
