Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Lead Engineer Piping to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for effectively mentor and manage a team of engineers, designers and draftsman across multiple discipline. Bid, FEED and Detail design phase activities need to be performed.
- To effectively mentor and manage a team of engineers, designers and draftsman across multiple discipline.
- Bid, FEED and Detail design phase activities need to be performed.
- To deliver project engineering deliverable by coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
- Customer coordination for the day-to-day project progress, milestone achievements. Attend technical meetings with customers, end client, vendors and all other potential project stake holders.
- Preparation of plant layout in accordance with process inputs, design basis, contractual technical conditions and industry codes and standards.
- Should be able to understand common equipment and routing of all major process and utility piping in accordance with P&IDs and project standards, including the understanding of impact of specific service conditions on piping design.
- To organize inputs and supervise for preparation General layout, Equipment layout, Key plans, support design, Isometrics and MTO.
- To produce and check common piping deliverable including isometrics, piping GA's, tie-in details, and plot plans.
- To attend and drive the model review session (30/60/90) and preparing corresponding close out reports.
- Skill Sets Required: Observational and Analytical skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Drafting skills. Knowledge of 3D applications such as S3D, E3D would be an added advantage.
- Education Level (Minimum) : BE
- Education Level (Preferable) : BE
- Minimum Experience Years: 10 (Oil & Gas Industry only)
- Maximum Experience Years: 15
