Client is looking for a Lead Piping Engineer
Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, refinery.
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- Minimum 15 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical, or related field
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Experience with Middle East projects
- Has led the piping team for minimum 3 years
- Engineering Design experience
Responsibilities:
- Lead piping engineering activities for brownfield and greenfield projects.
- Extensive experience in operating facilities, tie-ins, plant modifications, and revamp projects.
- Proven leadership in managing and mentoring piping engineers and designers.
- Strong capability in project planning, resource allocation, and engineering execution.
- Expertise in piping layout development, equipment arrangement, and routing optimization.
- Experience conducting site surveys, field verification, and constructability assessments.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review and approve piping engineering deliverables, specifications, and design documents.
- Support HAZOP, design reviews, risk assessments, and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Strong understanding of piping stress, and piping materials requirements.
- Familiar with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, ASME, API, and international engineering standards.
- Provide technical guidance during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.
- Develop engineering scopes of work, manhour estimates, and project execution plans.
- Interface effectively with clients, vendors, construction teams, and project stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and site support activities.
- Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and engineering excellence within the department.
