Job Title: Logistics Broker
Location: Charleston, SC or Glen Ellyn, IL (In-office)
Remote Option: Available on a 1099 basis
Industry: Logistics / Full Truckload Freight
Employment Type: Direct placement; permanent, flexible schedule
Compensation: Base salary $70,000 – $140,000 plus commission and bonuses
Benefits: Health insurance provided or reimbursement option

Position Summary
This position offers an opportunity to join a growing logistics firm with a strong foundation in asset-based trucking and an expanding presence in third-party logistics (3PL) services. The organization provides operational support to brokers with established books of business and may consider onboarding broker support teams where mutually beneficial.
Our sales offices are staffed by experienced freight brokers from diverse industry backgrounds, many with tenure at larger corporations. We prioritize candidates with a proven record of success, a portable client base, and a commitment to ethical business practices.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an active, transferrable book of business in full truckload freight.
  • Provide proof of accounts and performance metrics, including load volumes, average margin percentage, and gross revenue (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
  • Collaborate with internal operations and sales teams to ensure efficient logistics solutions.
  • Uphold company values of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Requirements
  • Minimum active book of business generating $300,000+ in annual gross profit.
  • Documented proof of accounts and performance metrics.
  • No active non-compete agreements.
  • Background in full truckload freight strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work in-office at Charleston, SC or Glen Ellyn, IL; relocation preferred.
  • Remote brokers considered, though in-office presence is prioritized.
  • No criminal record of any kind.
