TRS Staffing is seeking a dynamic Maintenance and Process Engineering Manager for a full time/direct hire opportunity in Spartanburg, SC with a leading automotive supplier.

General Description:
• Provides technical leadership and expertise in plastics, tooling and processing.
• Advises project management and engineering on all technical issues.
• Responsible for the review of new technical information.
• Works with engineering and with customers to improve processes and coordinate changes to production processes in most economical way.
• Manages the development of work steps for production from raw material to finished goods.
• Effectively provides systematic problem solving and performs root cause analysis.
• Ensures that all Integrated Management System procedures are followed within the projects.
• Manages technology budget and makes suggestions for improvements.
• Directs, develops and evaluates technology staff.
• Each employee is responsible for the quality of his/her personal performance and how said performance impacts the environment, safety, and data security. This is applicable to the departments of development, production, management, logistics, and after market services, as well as to contact with customers and suppliers. Managers and supervisors are also responsible for the quality of his/her team's performance and how said performance impacts the environment, safety, and data security.
• This principle of comprehensive quality management is developed and furthered through training (on the job), continuing/ extended education, as well as continued supply of information and updates, and should be exemplified by supervisors on every level.
• Knowledge of customer specific requirements necessary through advanced training, or work experience or a combination of the two.
• Responsible for staffing and development of maintenance employees.
• Evaluate and implement necessary changes to production equipment and procedures to obtain necessary OEE
• Plan and oversee all preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities.
• Work directly with production planning to manage and schedule all maintenance activities.
• Track and update all documentation related maintenance of all machines, secondary equipment.
• Work directly with maintenance inventory coordinator to manage stock levels and inventory.
• Knowledge of customer specific requirements necessary to pass all customer audits.
• Knowledge of ISO, TS, IATF department requirements.
• Implement activities for cost savings and better machine and secondary equipment utilization.
• Other duties as needed

Work Experience Requirements:
• Work experience in related fields to include expertise in plastics, processing and tooling.
• Working knowledge of TS16949. Automotive experience is preferred.
• Ten years of maintenance and facilities knowledge in related fields.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree or University Diploma preferred, or 10 years experience in Process Engineering.
• Fluent in English language skills, verbal and written
• Must be available for some travel, both international and domestic
• Must be well organized
• Must be quality oriented and understand quality concepts and systems
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Lotus Notes
• Must be able to work within a team structure

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
